Back to *Normal*

Chris and I both think our instincts were spot on when we thought Evelina's reflux was acting up due to her long-lasting cold.  She appears to be feeling much better, with the exception of a cough here and there, and taking her bottle or sippy cup much more easily.  During feedings, we still need to battle with her desire to take frequent breaks, straining to sit up as we cradle her, yearning to get in some additional babbling, or just feeling the need to nosy around her surroundings looking at what is new over here or over there, maybe grabbing our faces, hair, sleeves, watches, or whatever else may be in arms reach. And forget about burping her...that is a whole other challenge.  She is a busy, fidgety, inquisitive 8+ month old that's for certain!!  We are happy that she is feeling better again.  Let's hope it stays that way!!  NO MORE WINTER COLDS!!

  1. In the end, it will be good for her to have gotten these colds. I just learned a statistic about kids who have early exposure to daycare and better immunity later in life...so she'll be fine.
