Chris and I heard from our real estate attorney that the builder was making progress on clearing lot 16 so we thought we would do a drive by to check it out. I hopped on the commuter rail and met Chris at Ashland Station during one of the many pop up T-storms that we can't seem to get rid of this summer. We were pleasantly surprised to see some progress. The lot appears to be more level then it was back in July. The big pile of gravel has disappeared being replaced with larger rock (shouldn't it be the opposite??), and the driveway has started to form. Exciting stuff!!
Lot 17 and 18 appear to be coming along as well. The last time we visited Blueberry Hill Lane, lot 17 was only a foundation but now it is taking shape. We also got word that an offer has been accepted on lot 18 so we will have more new neighbors!! 
So exciting!! When you hear if they accept your offer? Or have they already?
ReplyDeleteOur offer was excepted in July and now we are just waiting for details to be fleshed out and the contract finalized. Once that happens, we will sign it and plop down 5%. This whole process will seem more real then!! Hopefully the contract will be signed in August.
