Evelina | 3 Year Stats

Yesterday Evelina had her 3 year well-child visit.  She is well and we are thankful for that.  She is such a tall string bean, but nothing her pediatrician is worried about.  Her stranger/new situation anxiety was out in full force and she wouldn't even stand on the scale by herself.  I had to be weighed with her. Of course, after the appointment, she turns to me and says, "Mama, that wasn't so bad!!"  I told her it wouldn't be about 100 times since no shots were involved, but she had to figure it out for herself.

Evelina's Stats...

Weight: 28.5lbs (28th %ile) - I accidentally deleted her 24 months stats post so I don't have it to compare too, but I believe she was around 25lbs last year.  At this rate, Daphne may weigh more then her by the time she is 2.

Length: 39" (80th %ile)

Head Circumference: No longer taken

Next appointment is at 4 years old.  There will be shots.  I'm not looking forward to that experience and I know for a fact that Evelina isn't either.

Daphne's Nursery

Some pictures of Daphne's nursery.  Many elements remain the same from Evelina's nursery;  the white hanging lanterns, the blue walls, most of the furniture.  Even so, it feels like a different room to me.  I love the purple and orange with the blue.  Of course, there is also the fabulous quilt made by Mimi.

Daphne's favorite element of the room is the elephant mobile.  She loves chilling on the changing table looking up at the floating elephants.

Evelina's favorite element of the room is the toy helicopter and books.  She frequently likes to choose which books I read to "baby Daph"and I can often find the helicopter taken apart all over the rug.

Evelina's 3 Year Interview

I've seen cute questionnaires for toddlers all over recently so I thought it would be fun to ask Evelina similar questions each year on her birthday to see how she changes year to year.  This is the first installment....hopefully I remember in years to come.

A few disclaimers:
  1. Turn the volume up, it is hard to hear all of her answers.
  2. I thought she was finished eating when I started recording, I guess I was wrong.
  3. Daphne was right next to her, and seriously the quietest baby ever.
  4. Yes, that is a burp at the end. This 3 year old has some lovely manners I tell ya. We need to work on that.
